Research Field: 

 

Poly(lactic acid-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) (50:50) is one of the widely used polymer in various medical applications, especially in drug delivery. PLGA is a biodegradable synthetic polymer, and degrade into non-toxic and natural products of lactic acid and glycolic acid that can be eliminated from the body easily. 
The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of long-term controlled release of encapsulated various ions, Vitamin A and E derivatives from PLGA nano- microcarriers on the treatment of skin diseases. At the same time in-situ and in-vitro studies of drug loaded PLGA nano- microcarriers are investigated.
