Research Activities:


Tissue engineering is an interdisciplinary field combining engineering and the lifesciences, presents a potentially effective method of restoring, maintaining and improving tissue function. The past decade has brought tremendous progress in transplantation, artifical organs and use of both novel synthetic or natural materials in biomedical field. Hydrogels are one of the promising scaffold options of tissue engineering tracks due to their similarity to the tissues especially due to their high water content. The ultimate aim of the current study is to observe the relationship between scaffold property and cell migration with potential application to biomaterials and tissue engineering.
